Last year 4 of the top 10 car searches on Google were for Chevrolets
Four of the 10 most-searched vehicles using Google in 2015 were Chevrolet vehicles, including three of the top four.
The 2016 Malibu sedan and the 2016 Silverado pickup were the two top trending search queries on Google’s Year in Search list of car models. The 2016 Camaro sports car and the Colorado pickup came in fourth and eighth.
The Toyota Tacoma pickup and the Honda HR-V compact crossover rounded out the top five in the third- and fifth-place spots. The Fiat 500X, Jeep Renegade, Lexus NX and Hyundai Tucson also place on the list.
Google’s Year in Search lists show searches that had the most Web traffic share in 2015 compared with 2014. The lists include search categories such as beer, athletes, politicians and movies.
The 2014 list did not break out searches by model, instead listing brands and manufacturers. Last year’s list was led by Ford, Jeep, Dodge, Toyota and General Motors.
